Carlos Zambrano Retires?

The head case that is Carlos Zambrano, pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, reportedly removed his belongings from his locker last night claiming to retire after a rough outing in which he gave up eight earned runs.  He was ejected in the fifth inning for trying to hit Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones in what may be his last pitch ever in the MLB.
Carlos Zambrano has had a long history of temper tantrums as he has had several blowups with teammates, opposing players, and the media.  Last year he and first baseman Derrek Lee got in an altercation which resulted in Zambrano being suspended for two games and forced to attend eight months of anger management classes.  If he really is retiring the Cubs won't miss him but fans nationwide will as you never knew what type of meltdown this guy was capable of.  He was truly in a world of his own to say the least and would fight anyone for any reason.  Below is a video of some other teammates fighting each other.
