Kendrick Perkins Arrested

    According to TMZ reports,  ex-Celtic Kendrick Perkins was arrested for public intoxication at 4 a.m this morning in Beaumont, TX.  He was in town for a celebrity basketball game which ended up being cancelled because Perkins had "food poisoning" and was in the hospital Thursday night.  According to multiple reports, Perkins and Rajon Rondo were approached by a group of men and a fight broke out which featured Perkins knocking a guy out.  Witnesses heard gunshots but it is unclear whether or not anybody was actually shot and who had the guns.  Original reports said Stephen Jackson was arrested too but updates have cleared his name.  More information is emerging as details of the incident are being investigated.    
    Sounds like one hell of a time to me.  One night you're in the hospital for eating some undercooked chicken, the next you're drinking til 4 A.M. knocking people out.  That's why I miss Kendrick Perkins.  The guy is a beast you don't want to mess with when he's sober on the NBA court,  imagine his temper when he's been drinking all night.  Ray Lewis had said that if the NFL lockout didn't end, crime would have risen as the players had "nothing better to do".  The same should be true for the NBA lockout as we all know the NBA doesn't stand for "Never Been Arrested" league.  It will be interesting to find out what really took place this morning and who was arrested.  Rumors have Eric Maynor, Kevin Durant, Rajon Rondo, Stephen Jackson, and Kendrick Perkins being involved in one way or another.
