This afternoon, Red Sox reporter Heidi Watney tweeted while she was in the dugout saying Dustin Pedroia told her to tell everyone to relax and that the Sox will be fine (with plenty of expletives throughout.) He has had an awful September and the media has been all over him saying that he is in a slump. Pedroia then goes out and hits two HR's and currently has four hits in a 13-5 lead almost assuring Tim Wakefield's 200th career win. Gotta love Peedy. He isn't shy around the media and always backs up what he says. He always has his teammates backs and is the true captain of the team even though V-Tek wears the Captain's patch. Hopefully this 10 game home stand is exactly what the Red Sox need as they look to make the playoffs as the wildcard or AL East winner.
