Good to see football back in action but not much to report as most of the top players, including Brady, didn't play a down. There were three stars of the game. The first being rookie Stevan Ridley from LSU who had three touchdowns. The second star was QB Ryan Mallett (my boy) who played the entire second half and led the Patriots to four consecutive touchdowns. He and Ridley helped erase a Jaguars 19-9 lead at half en route to the 47-12 thumping. The third star was our old friend Ed Hochuli. I swear Ed Hochuli gets bigger and bigger every year. Is there a rule against referees taking performance enhancing drugs? I bet he could karate chop 10 cement blocks with that emphatic first down call of his. Here's Hochuli butchering a call as well as another funny referee mishap from last year. Sure is more entertaining than backups playing "football".
