Little League World Series Starts Thursday

The 2011 Little League World Series is starting up this Thursday in Williamsport, PA like it has each and every August since it started in 1947. If you grew up playing Little League Baseball. you had once dreamed of making it to Williamsport to play in the Little League World Series.
If you're a baseball fan and enjoy watching the game, then the Little League World Series is a MUST WATCH. Each one of the sixteen teams, 8 International and 8 American teams from different regions, ages 11-13, have played many games all summer long just to reach this point. Now they get the chance of a lifetime to play in front of the world on ESPN/ABC in the famous Howard J. Lamade or Little League Volunteer Stadiums.
There is no talk of steroids or who is making the most amount of money. The games are only six innings and move at a rapid pace. No lead is ever safe and the plays in the field that these kids make will simply amaze you. Players wear their emotions on their sleeve and go from agony to jubilation with one swing of the bat. Those are just a few of the reasons why this game is so great.
The Little League World Series is everything that is right in sports. The only thing these players have to worry about is how to win the next game. If you love the game of baseball, tune in this week and watch the 2011 Little League World Series. These kids are playing purely for the love of the game.
