Bruins defenseman Steven Kampfer gave fans a scare last night as he was helped off the ice by teammates after suffering an apparent knee injury. The injury came during the third period of last night's 2-1 pre-season win over the Ottawa Senators. Kampfer, who attended Michigan, is competing for one of the final defensive spots on the Bruins roster. This was the last pre-season game for the B's so the timing of the injury doesn't bode well for him. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Friday.
