All the Pressue is on Rex

When it comes to the NY Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan one things for sure, he has no problem making bold predictions. For the past two seasons Rex has made an annual guarantee that his little foot soldiers, the NY Jets, are going to get to and win the Superbowl. The fact that Gang Green has made it to the AFC Championship the past two seasons, last year even beating our beloved Patriots along the way, has shown he's close to backing up his prediction.
The thing is, does anyone remember who loses in the AFC Championship a few years after it happens? The simple answer is NO! Rex Ryan knows his annual guarantee only has a shelf life for so long. Ryan recognizes the Patriots are the team to go through in the AFC and if him and his Jets are going to win any Superbowl they need help from other teams to take out the Patriots. They were lucky enough last year to get through the Pats in the playoffs, but he is still very worried about the Patriots as he recently pleaded to the rest of the NFL saying, "I think we have to find somebody out there to beat New England besides us, and I think that would help," Ryan said at his news conference. "Anybody out there that wants to sign up for it? Are you good enough as a team to beat the New England Patriots. Forget about us -- are you good enough to go out and beat the New England Patriots? I'm challenging the league."
The reason why Rex is pressuring the rest of the league is because he knows his act is getting old and it can only last for so long if he doesn't win.  The Patriots are the main obstacle in his way.  How many times can someone guarantee they are going to win the Superbowl before it gets too old? I give Rex two more seasons to bring home a Lombardi trophy or he's going to be on his way out in New York. Ryan better hope Dirty Sanchez and the rest of Gang Green step up soon. We all know by now Rex literally loves to put feet in his mouth, but if the Jets don't bring home a Lombardi Trophy soon he's figuratively going to put his foot in his own mouth when his annual guarantee fails yet again.
